Support Your Local Vintage Racing.  
The first weekend in April a few of us headed for Hallett Race Track for the CVAR vintage races.  The weather was perfect and the cars were great.  Vintage races are a spectator's dream with full access to the cars and drivers and no track crowds.  Here are some photographs.  This is a bit of a walk-around tour.

BBQ with Jim and Marta Hannon   Late April is very pleasant in the Midwest.  So a BBQ feast was planned in Norman to sort out some Freakout 05 duties and catch up after winter. 
Good food and cars were the topics early on.  Jim Wagner, Gary/Gary Blessing, Allen and Lyn Lofland arrived from Wichita. Jerry Lee Philips drove from Fort Worth.  Roamin' Chariots is about cars and people.  LetÕs see who was there.

All the cars are here  with Jim H. dark green and Jim W. being restored.  The Scorpion undressed for this shot but Ron and Jim protected it.

Ron is forground next to Gary, Jim H., Gary jr., Jerry Lee who was offering a weekend package    at Italian CarFest as a FFO prize.
