The first annual Roamin' Chariots Rocky Mountain Rendezvous is on for August 13-15 in the vicinity of Estes Park, Colorado USA. This is an event primarily involving Fiat and Lancia owners from the Midwest and Western US. However we would LOVE to be surprised by one or more of our Fiat/Lancia friends from afar. The itinerary will go something like this.

Informal welcome gathering on Friday evening.
Group breakfast Saturday morning.
Drive through Rocky Mountain National Park with LOTS of stops and spectacular phot opportunities. (www.rockymountainnationalpark.com/driving/default.htm) There is a $15.00 admission fee good for 7 days.
Picnic lunch somewhere spectacular inside the park. Maybe some hiking in the park for anyone who is so inclined. There is also great fishing available at numerous locations inside and outside the park.
Saturday afternoon shopping/walking tour of Estes Park. (Plenty of benches and pubs for us guys.)
Arranged Saturday evening sit-down dinner with whatever formalities we decide to have.
Sunday morning/early afternoon brunch at The Stanley Hotel (www.stanleyhotel.com). Built by the family of Stanley Steamer fame. They always have some of the cars on display and you'll normally see them driving around as well.
Farewells for those have to leave and more spectacular driving tours for anyone who wants to stay an extra day or so.
The headquarters for the event will be at the Allenspark Lodge Bed & Breakfast. If we have an overflow crowd, there are several other places to stay within a couple miles. Just ask the nice folks at the Lodge for recommendations. Their contact info is as follows.
