The Scottish
Inn of Osage Beach will be our unofficial motel and general
gathering place prior to any event. Register early so Lois can reserve the motel for our event.
ID badges:
will be provided for all participants that pre-register before May 30th. Email your car's picture to kdickson@mirafiori.com so we can make your ID badge.
Dinner Banquet:
Ruthie D's in Tan Tar A Menu choices below. Cost {Not yet specificed per person}. This is a seperate payment to the resturaunt and can be made Saturday night. Please indicate your menu choices on the order form.
Agenda:
The agenda is similar to previous MOFLOs, with arrivals on Tursday or Friday afternoon and evening. We will
have a cookout in the parking lot of the Scottish
Inn on Friday evening to accommodate arrivals throughout
the evening. Those that arrive early will hit the go-kart track
next to the motel for some friendly competition.
The Hotel carwash
station will be open Friday night and Saturday morning to clean
up for the big show. The car show will be Saturday morning ,
in Lake of the Ozarks State Park (go to www.mostateparks.com/lakeozark/map.htm for directions to the park). We will also caravan from the motel
to the park starting around 9:00 a.m. Once again the car show
is for display only, no prizes will be awarded, so feel free
to show what you drive. Also, plans are shaping up for an afternoon
gimmick rally around the Ozarks after lunch. This should be a
lot of fun and give everyone a chance to see the cars and drivers
in action.
Saturday Night Banquet:
Ruthie D's restaurant has been penciled in as the likely host us on Saturday June 7th at 6:00 p.m. for our "Spouse Appreciation" Dinner. Last year's dinner included these choices. This year would be similar to past year's choices - Dinner will consist of the choice of: 8 oz Prime Rib of Beef, Salmon Grilled, or Chicken Marsala. Dinner will include a salad with ranch dressing, baked potato with butter and sour cream, rolls and butter, coffee or tea, and Dutch Apple Cake for dessert. The price is $Not yet set per person which includes tax and gratuity. Liquor, wine, beer are optional extras.
Ruthie D's is located at 4466 Horseshoe Bend Parkway, about 11 miles from our lodging accommodations. I will have maps of how to get there for the registration packets.Served in a semi banquette style to accommodate our group.
This will keep us from having to wait a long time to be served
. Once again Sunday is a drive home day
Pre-Registration:
Since participation has grown
and we have great expectations for 2008, we are asking that
people send in a registration again this year. We would like
to have these by May 15th. Your registration fee will cover the nice participation plaque and
your participation ID we have for every pre-registered registrant that shows
up at the event.
This is necessary for us to
know what type of arrangements need to be made for dinner on
Saturday evening at Ruthie D's.
It will also help with rally preparations. We are arranging Friday
s cookout and the Saturday lunch of burgers and dogs at the park. We will have maps for you in your registration packet. Dinner
will be on separate checks and be paid directly to the restaurant.
We do need your menu choices in advance so that they can prepare
the meals in a timely fashion.
Fee Summary:

Saturday.
