This is Mike's fourth MOFLO and as you can tell by the picture, the car has really had a lot of work done to it. This year Mike sprung for the high performance 2L engine rebuild and also got the car into the paint shop for a respray to correct some paint damage. This is one of the nicest daily driven cars you will find in the country.

Mike is one of the RC executive committee members. Mike's term was up this year, but he was drafted into doing the t-shirts and dash plaques. Mike also volunteered to be our treasurer, so he's back on the committee by popular demand. MOFLO would be a much smaller event without his thoughful planning.

Mike's Story:
The rain was intermitent and short lived. It was clear for the Firday night bar-b-que at the motel. And a beautiful Saturday morning for cleaning the cars for the 11:00 a.m. departure to the State Park. Thanks to Steve Wood for reserving the covered shelter at the park and providing a dry place for lunch because not long after we got to the park the rain moved in and kept us cool for lunch. Another chance to dry the cars for the group photo and then a beautiful afternoon for the 1 hour drive around the lake. The drive took us over three bridges with views of the lake and the beautiful houses along the shores. The weather held for the tech time and relaxing time before dinner and it held for dinner as well, although I don't think there were many tops left down while we were eating. It stayed clear for BS after dinner and go-kart races, but rained again on Sunday morning but was clearing just in time for coffee and donuts. Had a great ride home with the top down the entire way, it took us just over 4 and a half hours with a mix of interstate and two lane driving. Thanks to all who came, sympithy to all those who didn't, because you missed a great event. And a very special thanks to all those that always help out and make this event so much fun for everyone.
