We got a late start Friday and had to push things a bit. One
Fiat and
one Minivan loaded with the kids. After riding around Osage Beach
for a
while we found the Campground where we spent the weekend. The
ride home
was great. We took the road out of the park (42?) and just went
east,
great winding, hilly road!!! It was great to meet the folks I've
been
"listening in on" for the last year or so. We look forward
to meeting
at MOFLO for years to come.
The Car: We are the third (and final) owner of this 1977 Spider.
We've
owned it since 1990 when I bought it as wedding a gift for my
wife (guys
if you can get away with this I highly recommend it). My wife
had been
driving it off and on since the late eighties. We've done amazingly
little to it, some routine maintenance and new tires. Two years
ago we
had the paint completely redone (exactly as it was, since I've
never
seen one like it). I'm hoping to someday have a "Fiat Budget"
like I
read many of you have to give it the time and resources it deserves.
